International Women’s Day 2022

On Saturday, 5th of March, we held our annual IWD celebration in parliament from 2pm-4pm, chaired by Alison Johnstone, Presiding Officer.  This event brought together women from across Scotland to celebrate their achievements and share their collective ambition to build a better and more sustainable country.

The full event is available to watch on Scottish Parliament TV.

To commemorate the tireless and heroic efforts of our women over the past year, we continued the theme “Celebrating Women in Scotland”. We wanted to highlight the amazing work done by women in all walks of life during COVID-19.
